There’s something so inviting and comforting about the smell and taste of homemade cookies. Part of the reason is the sentimental part, the memories of baking in the kitchen with my sisters and my grandmother. The other part is how delicious they are! Now that I’m older I’m busy making new memories with my own children, spending time in the kitchen cooking together and of course, baking chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies. Winter is just around the corner and I know we’ll be having the oven on a lot more and filling up our ceramic cookie jar again with batches of homemade goodies. Read the rest of this entry »
